HARRISBURG – Delaware County Rep. Leanne Krueger has re-introduced legislation that would expand access to contraceptives in PA. During the summer of 2020, a Supreme Court decision allowed any employer to opt out of the Affordable Care Act mandate to provide contraceptive coverage if they object to birth control on religious or moral grounds. Under House Bill 2454, insurers in PA would be required to provide coverage for contraception. Planned Parenthood said they support the measure which has been assigned to the PA House Insurance Committee.
