LANCASTER – On December 29, 2020, at approximately 7:59 AM, officers were dispatched to 25 S. Ann Street for a disturbance that was upgraded to a stabbing prior to officers arriving on the scene. When officers arrived they found a male victim who was unconscious and unresponsive inside the front door of the location. The victim appeared to have been stabbed. The officers and EMS evaluated the victim and determined he was beyond help. The male died from his injuries at the scene. His identity has not yet been confirmed, but preliminary information indicates he does not reside in the building. Officers immediately secured the scene as detectives responded to assist with the investigation. Several individuals have been brought in to the police station for interviews. Detectives are gathering information from residents and neighbors and will be processing the scene for evidence.
