LANCASTER – A Lancaster man was sentenced to 7 to 20 years in state prison after pleading guilty to firing a gun at a man on a residential street and later being found with an illicit weapon and drugs in his home. 23-year-old Brandon Hill Jr. pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, person not to possess a firearm, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, criminal mischief, and other charges. Hill fired the gun at least nine times toward the victim outside his residence in the 500 block of Woodward Street the afternoon of Feb. 2, 2024, causing it to strike a nearby home that was occupied at the time by two adults and a child as well as an unoccupied car. Hill must also pay more than $4,000 in restitution as part of his sentence.
