LANCASTER – During these difficult times, many in the Lancaster area are experiencing great hardship in feeding their families. The churches of Lancaster are joining with Blessings of Hope, the Lancaster Barnstormers, and Love In Action to distribute 40 lb. food boxes for those in need. The distribution is tomorrow, October 31 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Clipper Magazine Stadium at 650 N. Prince Street. You must register and have a ticket to be guaranteed to receive a food box. If you are in line before 2 p.m. and have a ticket, you are guaranteed a box. All tickets become void at 2 p.m. You can register to receive a food box by clicking on the Blessings of Hope truck picture below. To pick-up food boxes by car, please enter the stadium’s rear parking lot by using Clay Street off Prince or Armstrong Blvd. off Liberty Street. You will then be directed to the food distribution areas. Upon arrival, make sure you have your tickets ready, pop the trunk or have your back doors unlocked so the food box can be loaded by volunteers. If walking to the event, you will be directed to use the side entrance into the stadium. If you are a walk-in, a mask is required to enter stadium.
