LANCASTER COUNTY – A Lancaster County teen was sentenced to two and a half to six years in state prison after pleading guilty to stabbing his aunt in the head as she was driving earlier this year. 15-year-old D’Andre Jennings of Fulton Township was sentenced after pleading guilty to aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person. Jennings was in the back seat of a vehicle when, without reason, struck his aunt in the back of her head with a knife as she was driving along Susquehannock Drive in Martic Township around 6:45 a.m. Feb. 2. The stabbing shocked the victim, who suddenly veered into oncoming traffic before she safely stopped the vehicle. The victim suffered a large laceration, but ultimately survived. She and Jennings were listening to music at the time and she told authorities she had no idea why he stabbed her.
