LEBANON – A Lancaster County man is facing numerous charges after fleeing from police in Lebanon. On December 11 at 1:47 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle committing a number of traffic violations and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. Continuing patrol, the officer later found the fleeing vehicle at the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 5th Avenue and East Weidman Street. The vehicle had crashed, striking a second vehicle, and a parked vehicle. The operator of the fleeing vehicle, 28-year-old Darius Stuckey of East Petersburg was found to have a suspended driver’s license and no insurance on his vehicle. Stuckey was taken into custody, but required transport to a local medical center for injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the second vehicle suffered serious injuries and was also taken for treatment.
