HARRISBURG – The PA House has selected Rep. Bryan Cutler as it’s new Speaker of the House. Cutler takes the role previously held by Mike Turzai, who retired from office earlier this month. Cutler is the third House Speaker from Lancaster County and the first since Rep. Aaron Hess was Speaker in 1929. Cutler spoke of the state’s founder, William Penn, as well as his commitment to serve his fellow Pennsylvanians.  Rep. Kerry Benninghoff of Centre & Mifflin Counties was selected to serve in Cutler’s previously held post as House Majority Leader.
