LANCASTER – Be alert for some severe weather throughout the remainder of today according to meteorologist Jeff Nordeen. Expect strong storms for the region, along with heavy downpours, hail, damaging wind gusts, and possibly even a tornado. The stormy weather is expected through this afternoon and evening, and even part of the overnight. Wednesday is expected to turn out to be a much nicer day than the start of the week across a large portion of the eastern U.S. As the cold front clears the Northeast coast later Tuesday night, calmer conditions can be expected on Wednesday.
