LANCASTER – Local people and those across America are gathering for the 74th annual National Day of Prayer to specifically pray for the seven centers of influence in the nation which include government, military, media, business, education, church, and family. This year’s theme is “Pour Out to the God of Hope and Be Filled,” which is based on Romans 15:13. Prayers will be poured out in all 50 states and several U.S. territories through tens of thousands of local prayer gatherings. The Lancaster County National Day of Prayer main event will be held today at Lancaster Bible College at 6:15 p.m. Attendees will be led in worship with the 100-voice One A-Chord Choir and guided through the seven pillars of prayer by Pastor Alex Rivera from Journey Church. The prayer event will be carried live over WDAC and will be streamed at the website lancasterndp.com.
