HARRISBURG – An inmate held at the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill wrote two letters intended to be sent to two separate county clerks which threatened Gov. Josh Shapiro, his wife, First Lady Lori Shapiro, and the Governor’s mansion. State Police report that the inmate, 34-year-old Corey Bennett of Knoxville, TN, was interviewed and admitted to writing the letters. The letters were intercepted by SCI Camp Hill staff prior to being sent. Charges of terroristic threats were approved by the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office. Bennett remains in custody at SCI Camp Hill.
