HARRISBURG – PA House Republicans introduced articles of impeachment against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. House GOP leaders said they may add session days to get the job done before the two-year legislative term expires next month. Philadelphia Rep. Martina White sponsored the 22-page resolution aimed at removing Krasner a year after he was reelected. The Articles of Impeachment cite mismanagement of the District Attorney’s Office and his soft-on-crime policies as having a direct and negative impact on the crime and violence crisis gripping Philadelphia, which is a dereliction of his obligation to the people of Philadelphia and the state.
