BERKS COUNTY – Authorities in Berks County are investigating the discovery of what they believe may be human remains. On December 28 at 6:10 p.m., Cumru Township Police received a call from an individual who made the discovery in a wooded area near Lakewood Drive in the Flying Hills Community while walking their dog. The remains were discovered about 20 yards off the golf cart path that leads to the 18th green between Doral Drive and Lakewood Drive in Flying Hills. The area was secured. Investigators believe the remains to be human; however, the gender is unknown. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cumru Township Police at 610-777-9595.
