LANCASTER – Crews battled a dwelling fire in Lancaster. Yesterday around 3:08 a.m., police and fire units responded to the 100 block of N. Reservoir Street. The fire spread to an adjoining row home. City Fire was able to quickly contain and extinguish the blaze. One resident was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor burns and possible smoke inhalation. 12 people were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross. The fire started in a second-floor bedroom. The cause is under investigation by the Fire Marshal. The home did have working smoke detectors.
