LANCASTER – Lancaster Police are searching for a driver who struck and injured a pedestrian and then fled the scene. On Saturday, Jan. 2 around 7:30 p.m., a man walking east on E. King Street was in a crosswalk at N. Franklin Street when a white Chevy Cruze hit the man and did not stop. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. Surveillance video showed that the vehicle had been double-parked mid-block on the 600 block. of E. King Street. The person that entered the suspect vehicle and drove it appeared to be an older female. The driver wore dark pants, a teal coat, and a white cap. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt.
