HARRISBURG – Harrisburg’s Bethesda Mission has begun a food drive to help feed the needy during the upcoming holiday season. From now through December 16, their goal is to collect 120,000 pounds of donated food. You can fill up a grocery bag with non-perishable food items and drop it off at the Bethesda Men’s Mission at 611 Reily Street in Harrisburg; M&T Bank branches in Dauphin & Cumberland Counties; Harrisburg locations of the Dauphin County Library; Sharp Shopper in Middletown; and Cross Country Mortgage and Ebersole Allstate Insurance on Market Street in Camp Hill. Donated turkeys and hams will only be accepted at the Men’s Mission. You can make a financial donation to Bethesda Mission to help them purchase food items by clicking on the banner below.
