HARRISBURG – The FBI is searching for a Harrisburg woman accused of stealing a laptop or a hard drive from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office during the January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol. A witness contacted the FBI claiming Riley June Williams was seen in video footage captured inside the building. The witness claimed Williams was intending to sell the device to Russia, but the deal fell through for unknown reasons, and that she still has the device or has destroyed it. Williams traveled to Washington with her father on January 6, but the two did not stay together; however, later returned home to Harrisburg later in the day. The FBI contacted Williams’ mother who told them her daughter packed a bag, left her home, and told her “she would be gone of a couple of weeks.” Williams changed her phone number and deleted all her social media accounts. The FBI is seeking Williams as she is facing a number of charges. You can read the complaint against Williams by CLICKING HERE.
