HARRISBURG – On Wednesday November 26th 2025, the Harrisburg Police charged James Timothy Scott in connection with the December 20th 2023 homicide of Amari McFadden. The shooting death took place in the 1500 block of Ella Alley, where McFadden was located deceased by police. An investigation was initiated at that time and has continued since the original response. Scott has been charged with Criminal Homicide and various firearms offenses.
