CUMBERLAND COUNTY – Cumberland County authorities responded to a gas leak. Lower Allen Township Police and Fire have cleared a scene on Palmer Drive where a gas line was struck during construction this morning. Residents in the immediate area were urged to evacuate at the request of UGI. UGI was able to quickly patch the line with a new valve and scans are not showing any additional leaking at this time; therefore, residents were able to return.
