LANCASTER COUNTY – A Lancaster County man charged with attempting to stab his father to death will have his case proceed to county court after stipulating to a prima facia case based on the state’s allegations. The case against 24-year-old Jared Navarro of East Drumore Township could proceed on charges of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, possession of an instrument of crime, and simple assault. The ruling came after Navarro stipulated to the Commonwealth’s allegations that he stabbed his father multiple times at their shared residence in the 100 block of Groffdale Drive the morning of Sept. 1. Navarro remains in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
