LANCASTER COUNTY – One person died and another was injured after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred on Saturday, May 27 around 7 p.m. at Woodcrest Avenue and W. Woods Drive in Warwick Township, Lancaster County. Police report the motorcycle occupants had been traveling westbound when it exited the northbound side of the roadway. The cycle rode through an area of mulch, shrubbery, and landscape rocks. It struck a mailbox in the 700 block of Woodcrest Avenue, side-swiped a PPL utility pole, and came to rest. The motorcycle operator was identified as 44-year-old Christopher Coolidge of Manheim, who died at the scene. He was not believed to be wearing a helmet. A passenger, 43 year-old Jessica Schwanger of Manheim is in critical care at an area hospital.
