LANCASTER COUNTY – Police in Lancaster County are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash. At 10:22 a.m. on November 4, officers responded to the 1800 block of Old Philadelphia Pike for a single vehicle crash. A preliminary investigation shows that a yellow 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on Old Philadelphia Pike when it struck the curb on the southeast side of the roadway at the intersection with Chateau Hill. The operator separated from the motorcycle which slid across the roadway coming to rest in the westbound lane. The motorcyclist was identified as 61-year-old Samuel Bradley Jr. of Philadelphia. He sustained severe injuries and was transported to Lancaster General Hospital where he later died. Bradley was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
