BERKS COUNTY – A fatal pedestrian hit and run crash that occurred in Berks County has claimed the life of a Boyertown man. A passing motorist called State Police yesterday around 8:15 a.m. after a man was found deceased along Powder Mill Hollow Road in Earl Township. Authorities identified the victim as 33-year-old James Falasca-Carter, Jr. Police say 2008-2012 Jeep Liberty was traveling southbound on the road when they struck the victim. The vehicle continued south without stopping. State Police say the vehicle and the driver were located Monday night. The driver’s identity was not released. PSP Reading is still conducting their investigation.
