HARRISBURG – The state House Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee received an email from the Wolf Administration indicating that it would move to open the Farm Show Complex. The issue has been at the forefront recently as the complex is housing $50 million of personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic, even though it is not a suitable location. The storage has prevented outside events from being held at the complex, leading to a loss in needed economic activity in the Harrisburg area. Committee Chairman, Adams County Rep. Dan Moul said the complex needs to be reopened for its intended purpose. Moul added there was no official date for the opening and may take a month to clear out all the PPE.
