DESCRIPTION:As the first light of morning breaks over the horizon on April 5\, a special Resurrection Sunday: Sunrise Gathering will take place at River Corner Church at 6:45 a.m. This special early-morning worship gathering will take place at River Corner Church\, 524 River Corner Road\, Conestoga\, PA. \nThis gathering is rooted in remembering the triumphant account of the first day of the week\, when Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb early—while it was still dark—to find the stone had been rolled away (John 20:1). It is a moment that celebrates the victory of the risen Christ. This early hour also reflects the way of Jesus\, who often sought the stillness of quiet and modeled the value of withdrawing to secluded places for prayer in undistracted times (Mark 1:35). \nTraditionally\, this is a reflective and celebratory way to start the Easter Season and Resurrection Sunday\, inviting neighbors\, friends\, and the local community to join in a shared celebration of the promise\, hope\, and renewal that a relationship with Jesus offers.\nThe twenty-minute morning program will include worship through music and prayer\, a proclamation centered on the resurrection\, and a time of extended fellowship with light refreshments following the service. \nRiver Corner Church is a simple community of Jesus followers rooted in Lancaster County\, Pennsylvania.
