SUMMARY:The Promise Players present "Simon Says: The Rockin' Trial of Simon Peter"
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family-friendly musical where Simon Peter is on trial for claiming Jesus was God on earth\, sent for me and you. Can he prove it? Watch the action and hear many eyewitness testimonies in the trial that people on the street have dubbed the case of Simon Says. There are plenty of recognizable characters (although we do have a little fun with their “character”) and a wide variety of classic rock-style songs filled with catchy lyrics and toe-tapping rhythms. \nShows will be held on March 12-15 and 19-22 at Lampeter Church of the Brethren: 1900 Lampeter Road\, Lancaster\, PA 17602. Thursday and Friday shows will begin at 7:30 pm\, Saturday shows at 2:30 and 7:30 pm\, and Sunday shows at 2:30 pm. Reservations are strongly encouraged\, though seating is general admission on a first-come\, first-served basis. Reserve your seat(s) today at promiseplayers.org\, as Promise Players shows are often sold out! If needed\, call the church office Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm at 717-464-2050. \nA suggested donation of $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12 is payable at the door. Children under 5 will be admitted for free. A family cap of $50 may be applied to families with children ages 18 and under. Proceeds from the show will benefit Bible2School.
