HOPE International’s 23rd Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser

We invite you to join us as a golfer or sponsor to help us raise $1,100,000 to invest in the dreams of 40,000 families around the world through discipleship, biblically-based training, a safe place to save, and financial loans. We equip men and women with Christ-centered financial services that are extended to their children and communities – a sustainable way to break the cycle of poverty and change the future for the next generation.

For 26 years, HOPE International has served in the world’s underserved communities. We proclaim and live the Gospel through our Christ-centered financial services, and we have helped more than 1.5 million men and women tackle the challenges of poverty for themselves and their communities. HOPE International addresses underserved men and women’s social, spiritual, personal, and material needs.

In low-income economies, many people have few options for accessing capital apart from loan sharks, which can be dangerous and charge exorbitant interest fees. HOPE provides loans to the underserved who lack capital but have the ideas and initiative to start or expand a business. The lump sum of capital can also help people run their businesses more efficiently, purchase productive assets, and improve inventory, resulting in increased profitability and greater household income, alleviating their poverty.

In many low-income countries, less than 10% of the population has saved at a formal financial institution. Without the ability to deposit savings, people often resort to hiding money at home, leaving it vulnerable to theft, deterioration, or overspending. Without savings to fall back on, an illness, emergency, or temporary drop in income can quickly become a crisis. Through the HOPE network, individuals save their own money to build a safety net for emergencies, start a business, send children to school, or invest in future goals. Even minimal savings can mean improved nutrition and medical care for the family, more consistent school attendance, and income generation.
