20th year Memorial Service at Lancaster Garden of Hope

The Garden of Hope offers families the opportunity to honor the life of their babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. An ordered plaque will be permanently installed on a memorial wall at the Garden of Hope. The plaques are stainless steel and will not rust, fade, or break.

A short memorial service will be held in the barn at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens (Adjacent to the Garden of Hope property). Each family will be given a balloon in memory of their baby and will have the opportunity to write a message or their baby’s name on the balloon. At the conclusion of the service, the balloons are released filling the sky with symbols of the precious lives that we miss. (A golf cart shuttle service will be available for guests who have difficulty walking to the garden after the memorial service).

You can choose to park at the Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens at 3716 East Newport Road, Gordonville PA 17529 OR you may park at the Garden of Hope parking lot at 30 Springhouse Lane, Intercourse, PA 17534. Both parking lots are close to the garden and location for the memorial service.

*The Garden of Hope Memorial Service is always held on the second Sunday in June at 4:00pm at the garden.
