EPHRATA – A Lancaster County man is facing charges after he discharged a firearm into an occupied structure. 23-year-old Dylan Leisey of Ephrata faces charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person. On Friday, September 25 at 5:51 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Marie Avenue in Ephrata Borough for a report of shots fired. Police interviewed witnesses on scene who reported that Leisey fired two rounds from his handgun while multiple occupants were inside. Occupants of the residence were able to safely secure the firearm and everyone exited the residence. Witnesses reported that once outside an altercation occurred and Leisey stated he was going to kill them. Leisey was arrested, processed and arraigned. He was then transported to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of bail.
