LANCASTER COUNTY – A Lancaster County crash between an e-bike and a vehicle is under investigation. Last Friday at 12:10 p.m., police were called near the intersection of Long Lane (Route 741) and Willow Street Pike South (Route 272). A preliminary investigation indicated a Lancaster man in his early 20s was eastbound on Long Lane on an e- bike. It appears he was attempting to cross 272 South. The e-bike and a southbound vehicle collided in the southbound lane of travel. The male e-biker was taken to Lancaster General with life threatening injuries. So far, no charges have been filed against either operator. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact West Lampeter Township Police at 717-464-2421.
