LANCASTER COUNTY – Authorities in Lancaster County are investigating the theft of dogs from a farm yesterday just after 9 p.m. on Cabin Drive in Ephrata. Police say two English Bulldogs, 8-9 weeks old, and a Boston Terrier, 2-3 years old, were stolen. The Boston Terrier is a mother that is currently nursing puppies that were not taken. The same Boston Terrier recently had an eye removed from an incident days prior and still should have stitches from the procedure. Police are looking for a light blue colored four-door sedan, which is missing the rear bumper. They’re also looking for a dark colored, possibly Audi SUV. Both vehicles were possibly involved in the incident and were seen in the area prior to the theft. The only description of an individual involved is a black or Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt and a baseball style hat. He was seen fleeing on foot through a corn field before being picked up by one of the two vehicles. Anyone with information is asked to contact West Earl Twp. Police at 717-859-1411.
