LANCASTER – The Lancaster County Coroner has identified through dental records that the human remains found on railroad property behind Dutchland, Inc. in eastern Lancaster County is that of 18-year-old Linda Stoltzfoos. The cause of death has been ruled asphyxia, strangulation, and suffocation.  A stab wound to the neck was also a contributing factor. The 18-year-old Stoltzfoos had been last seen walking home from church in the Bird-in-Hand area when she disappeared on June 21 of last year. 35-year-old Justo Smoker of Paradise is in Lancaster County Prison charged with homicide, false imprisonment, and kidnapping. Authorities believe Stoltzfoos was killed within hours of her being kidnapped and buried behind a business on Harvest Drive in Ronks where some of her garments had been located. They believe Smoker moved her body to the rear of Smoker’s previous place of employment, Dutchland, Inc. along Route 41 several days afterward.
