President Joe Biden insisted his party would surprise people while acknowledging that Washington will be “more difficult” if it falls short. Democrats contend GOP victories could profoundly and adversely reshape the country. Republicans say the public is tired of President Biden and Democrat policies amid high inflation, illegals entering the border, and concerns about crime.
