DOVER, DE (AP) – As the delta variant of the coronavirus spreads in Delaware, state health officials recommended that unvaccinated people get tested weekly and announced more ways to access testing, including take-home kits at libraries. Officials urged everyone 12 and older to get vaccinated. They say cases climbed steadily in Delaware during the month of July and more than 100 new cases have been reported every day for the past five days. A new partnership with Delaware libraries will allow people to pick up a take-home rapid test kit from libraries to have in case it is needed.
