READING (AP) – A defense attorney has dismissed as “conjecture” the prosecution’s case against a Berks County woman charged with killing her two young children. The woman’s son and daughter were found dead in the basement of their home five years ago. 41-year-old Lisa Snyder is charged with first-degree murder in the September 2019 deaths of 4-year-old Brinley and 8-year-old Conner in Albany Township. Berks County prosecutors rested their case Friday and the defense unsuccessfully sought an immediate acquittal, calling the case “all guesswork.”
