DAUPHIN COUNTY – Three people perished in a Dauphin County house fire. Around 7:30 a.m. yesterday, units rushed to the 500 block of Morgan Drive in Lower Swatara Township and found the house engulfed in flames, with reports suggesting people might be trapped inside. Fire crews battled the blaze, but were forced to retreat when the roof began to collapse. Before evacuating, one victim was found deceased. Once the fire was brought under control, two more victims were found deceased inside. The identity of the victims have not been released. The Dauphin County Coroner’s Office, Dauphin County Forensic Team, and Fire Marshal are collaborating on the investigation.
