MIDDLETOWN – Police in Dauphin County were dispatched last Friday to the 600 block of Adelia Street in Middletown in reference to suspicious activity and a deceased animal. Some homeowners advised officers that they located multiple small arrows in their back yard and had also found a deceased robin with an arrow through it in their driveway. Further inspection of the arrows showed that they were blow darts. The arrows are extremely sharp, can cause considerably injury, and can be propelled from some distance away with the right blow dart gun or apparatus. Authorities released photos of the darts. Anyone with information as to whom may have used the darts or where the arrows were discharged is asked to contact Middletown Borough Police at 717-902-0627.
