HARRISBURG – A Harrisburg woman arrested by the FBI on charges related to the January 6th unrest at the U.S. Capitol is to appear in court today. The FBI says Riley Williams surrendered last evening and was taken into federal custody without incident. She is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building without lawful authority, violent entry, and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds. FBI officials said a caller claiming to be a former romantic partner of Williams said friends showed them a video of her taking a laptop or hard drive from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office. Williams allegedly tried to give the device to Russian officials, but the deal fell through for unknown reasons.
