HARRISBURG – The Shapiro Administration and the PA Department of Health are proposing more than 500 pages of regulations that would dramatically expand governmental authority over your health decisions and your family. Josue Sierra, Director of Communications at PA Family Council, says these rules would force all schools to bypass parental authority and give access to your child to discuss sexually transmitted diseases or contact tracing. It would give the Department of Health access to children’s medical records without parental consent. It would require healthcare providers to put your vaccine information into a centralized database. They could even pull pregnancy centers and other organizations into a government referral system that includes so-called reproductive services – aka abortions. He added we’ve already seen what unchecked government power looked like during COVID. Now the Shapiro administration wants to expand it. This would have a chilling effect on your privacy, parental rights, life, and religious freedom. You have until September 21st to make your voice heard.
