LANCASTER COUNTY – Police in Lancaster County made an arrest after a reported shooting. On Saturday, July 26 around 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Lincoln Highway East and found an adult victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. As a result of an investigation, East Lampeter Township Police charged 22-year-old Marquis Aguilera of Columbia with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, possession of instruments of a crime, and discharging of a firearm into an occupied structure. Police believe it to be an isolated incident and there is no on-going threat to the public. Aguilera is being held in Lancaster County Prison.
