HARRISBURG – PA Attorney General Dave Sunday announced charges against a York County doctor who solicited lewd photographs and coerced methadone patients into sexual acts in exchange for him continuing to authorize their access to drug treatment medications. 63-year-old Dr. Christopher Davis was medical director at Pyramid Healthcare Treatment Center at the time of the crimes. Davis was arrested Wednesday for a variety of offenses. Bail was set at $1 million. Davis had sole control over the patients’ access to methadone, a controlled substance used to treat opioid addiction. An investigation revealed that between 2022 and 2024, Davis exploited his position to coerce and manipulate female patients. If the patients refused his advances, Davis would withhold or threaten to withhold treatment benefits and medications.
