LANCASTER – Lancaster Police responded to a call of a body found along the Conestoga River. Yesterday around 9:11 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of S. Duke Street and located an unknown male subject partially submerged in the river across from the 100 block of Reedy Lane. The body appeared to have been there for a period of time. There were no obvious signs of trauma observed and police believe there is no danger to the public. Investigators are working with the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office to determine the circumstances of the man’s death and to confirm his identity.
