EPHRATA – People in the state of Texas are facing a period of recovery from bitterly cold weather and wintry storm conditions that created power outages, no water, and a shortage of food supplies. Lancaster County’s Blessings of Hope has sent a semi-truck loaded with water and milk. The truck left their warehouse in Leola early Sunday morning and is scheduled to arrive in the Dallas/Fort Worth area today. They are also planning on sending multiple additional truck loads of the prepacked “Hands of Hope” family boxes. Each box contains about 40 pounds of assorted food items. You can help in covering the costs associated with empowering Blessings of Hope to continue reaching out in a time of need by making a tax deductible donation by mailing a check to: Blessings of Hope, P.O. Box 567, Ephrata, PA 17522. You can make an online donation by clicking on the picture below. If you are a Class A CDL truck driver and want to join one of their driver teams, please contact Durrell in dispatch, 717-466-1551 for more information.
