HARRISBURG – State senators in Harrisburg unanimously passed a bill to increase the transparency of PA’s vaccine rollout by requiring the state Health Department to make public the amount of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been wasted. Bill sponsor, Sen. David Argall of Berks & Schuylkill Counties says there’s no reason why health officials should withhold this information from the public. Media organizations across PA have also expressed their frustration throughout the pandemic with the refusal to publicize information. Senate Bill 559 now moves to the state House.
