LANCASTER COUNTY – Police in Lancaster County responded to a call in the 1200 block of Sun Valley Road in Clay Township on Saturday shortly before 3 p.m. It was determined that a male subject that was involved in a domestic violence related crime while under the influence of methamphetamine. The 56-year-old man was barricaded in a locked outbuilding used as a storage shed. Attempts were made for the individual to surrender. After several hours of futile attempts, officers utilized breaching tools and took custody of the man who was transported to Ephrata Hospital for evaluation. The un identified subject is scheduled to be incarcerated on a probation violation and will face multiple charges.
