YORK – Some closure may be in store in a York County cold case. York County District Attorney Tim Barker announced in a press conference Thursday that three individuals were arrested in connection to a 2019 violent crime spree. 27-year-old Shandon Garner, 26-year-old Anu-Malik Johnson, and 26-year-old Jakeem Woodard have been charged with varying degrees of murder, attempted murder, and robbery. The trio allegedly was a part of a group dubbed “ATM,” which stood for “Addicted To Money,” which meddled in drugs, robberies, and violent attacks. In 2019, the three men were connected to a spree of home invasions that were believed to be targeted attacks in order to obtain money, drugs, and firearms. During these invasions in late August 2019, the group is charged with the killing of Edward Jarmond Jr., and Garner is charged with having fired the fatal shot. The group is also charged with attempted murder of another resident, James McMillian Jr., when all three men allegedly shot at McMillian Jr. as he fled from the assailants during another later home invasion. The charges and findings all come as a result of an investigation process with the cooperation of multiple witnesses in the time since the crimes were committed in 2019.
