ENOLA – Police arrested a suspect in a deadly Cumberland County shooting. On Saturday, police responded to 52 Greenmont Drive in Enola for a domestic dispute and determined the incident to be civil in nature. The dispute involved a father and his adult daughter. Officers left the scene, but a short time later, they received another 911 call to the same address from a subject identified as 78-year-old John Miller, who said he had shot and killed his wife and adult daughter. Officers arrived on scene and Miller was taken into custody without incident. Police determined that the unidentified daughter was deceased inside the residence. Officers located Miller’s wife shot inside as well. She was transported to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. Miller was taken to Cumberland County Prison where he was arraigned on homicide charges. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call East Pennsboro Township Police at 717-732-3633.
