EPHRATA – Police in Lancaster County arrested a man involved with a stabbing in Ephrata. On Wednesday, September 27 around 8:53 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of West Locust Street and Park Avenue and determined that an assault occurred between two acquaintances. An investigation determined that a dispute over a money debt led to the stabbing. 36-year-old Phillip Trimble of Lancaster was arrested and transported to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment. Trimble is charged with aggravated and simple assault for his involvement as the alleged aggressor. The 34-year-old victim from Ephrata was transported to a local hospital for a minor stab wound to his arm.
