COLUMBIA – A Columbia teen has been arrested and charged with stabbing a man to death on a Columbia Borough street earlier this month. 17-year-old Joshua Flores was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence. He is accused of the death of 26-year-old Anthony Stoy-Velazquez in the 200 block of Linden Street in Columbia during the early morning hours of July 8. Police say numerous tips from multiple sources identified Flores as the assailant. Surveillance footage from multiple businesses and residences in the area show Flores and Stoy-Velazquez confronting one another before Flores stabs him and then runs away. Flores was denied bail during a preliminary arraignment and is held in the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center.
