LANCASTER – State Police have made an arrest in the homicide of a man whose body was found in Lancaster County. Charges have been filed against 24-year-old Carlos Rivera-Rivera with the murder of 34-year-old Edgardo Bermudez-Melendez which occurred March 13 in York. An investigation determined that Bermudez-Melendez was killed in York and his body was transported and discarded in a wooded area along Route 372 in Martic Township. His body was found by police on March 19. PSP Lancaster is investigating the homicide with help from the York County District Attorney’s Office.
