YORK COUNTY – York County authorities responded to a shots fired incident. Yesterday before 10 a.m.,, police received a call for shots fired in the area of the Conewago Inn at 3480 York Haven Road in Newberry Township. A “shelter in place” request was issued to ensure the safety of residents in the immediate area while a variety of authorities searched for any actors. After police determined there was no immediate danger, the request was lifted. Police have taken one person into custody and criminal charges are currently pending.
